3/6/2024 EnchantaVaughn Approved Upon arrival to the home setting, Kaila appeared to be in a positive mood evident by her facial expressions such as a smile on the face. QMHPA inquired about her day. She verbalized to QMHPA her day was going well. QMHPA informed her the topic of todayâs session. Upon arrival, she did not present any symptoms of S/I. QMHPA engaged Kaila in a conversation to allow her to explain how she had handled the situation and if she was able to utilize learned anger management strategies to control situation. QMHPA reiterated Kailaâs goals reminding her of the importance of maintaining self-control when faced with confrontation as outbursts could escalate the situation at hand. QMHPA instructed Kaila to provide QMHPA with at least 5 learned techniques and ways in which situation could have been avoided. QMHPA processed each strategy with Kaila and provided her with praise for her ability to recognize more appropriate ways to deescalate from a negative situation. QMHPA escorted Kaila out in the community to assist her with going to her local store to get the money off her card to assist with paying a bill that was past due. QMHPA encouraged Kaila to be mindful of the amount of funds that has until her next deposit. Kaila appeared to be receptive to QMHPAsâ interventions and strategies provided by QMHPA. Kaila agreed to continue practicing learned techniques however she stated that she is not sure if they will come to mind when she is put in those situations. Kaila verbalized that she is learning how to take responsibility for things that she need to do. Kaila also stated to QMHPA that she is learning how maintain self-control to assist her with not being angry. Kaila that she is struggling with being able to manage her finances at the middle and the end of the month; however, with the help of QMHPA she feels as though she will get what she needs to get done.
